Which reminds me, if there is any truth to the show Crossing Over, or any truth to mystics, fortune tellers, crystal ballers, etc., I’d have to say, regardless what religion tells us, there’s some kind of spiritual realm.
How we get there, I have no clue.
Do we have souls? I tend to believe so (though some make it easier to believe than others).
Bottom line: In my opinion, anyone that shares a belief of a higher being, of there being a God, and of there being an end-of-the-journey purpose, or something along these lines are good people in my book.
If we look at the world as it is today, there are too many lost souls to argue with the few who serve a positive purpose. If I needed someone to catch me, I’d rather it be someone with morality. Where it comes from, I dont care; as long as it makes them a better person. Regardless what our religion may be, our (and I mean everyone’s) God will surely appreciate it, to say the very least.
There are many many people w/ a positive purpose in life and a positive purpose is possible w/out religion… And just because someone doesn’t believe in god does not mean they have no morals… on the contrary, morals are instilled in us all and also has nothing to do w/ a belief in god. Just because someone says they are christian hardly makes them any more moral or worthy than anyone else. Although most would beg to differ… I think most of us would like to think we are superior than most…
One might say you ought to be moral because you will be happier if you are or god will punish you if you are not. These are what is called prudential reasons to be moral. The trouble is that sincerely believing in these reasons appears to undermine morality rather than support it. Acting morally because it is one’s own best interest to do so does not seem to be morality at all. Morality is about acting in the best interests of others and oneself.
We are all on our own paths and what connects us is the fact that we are all human beings learning about life as we move forward and challenged no matter what our belief or point of view… Love thy neighbor and embrace the journey…

However, if you have any knowledge of philosophy, Plato created the Theory of Forms. Perhaps if you read on that, it would help you understand where I’m coming from a bit better.

I LOVE your painting and its inspired me…Others have their opinions & their right to their opinion. It just doenst mean Their right…GOD is the only way. They’ll find out one day when their burning in hell for eternity. Well my Question is….My Collegiate ministry class “Saturday Night Alive” were making shirts & I was wondering if we could use this picture? It wouldn’t hurt my feelings if you said no, but Its worth a shot. Also, it would be able to inspire Others as well…Thank you & Have a great night!

look, i’m catholic and we don’t think just because u don’t believe in God means ur a bad person, i personally think ur uneducated and i pity u, but we’re not gonna say thats so wrong and hate u. we don’t believe in hate either, we would rather help u. and just sayin, if u don’t believe in God how do u think we all got here? if u believe in evolution the u think we came from monkeys, but how did they get here? just take into thought what u believe in before u open ur mouths and say stuff that doesn’t make sense or make u sound unintelligent.
and, we don’t just believe ur gonna go to hell if ur a bad person or u automatically go to heaven if ur good. its not up to us to decide, but if u read the bible Jesus mentions hell multiple times and warns us of it, yes satan was is right hand man named lucifer and he thought he was as good as God, he was just kidding himself. i mean really, could u make the earth appear and suddenly light and animals and adam and eve? no! we couldn’t, so y act like u can do everything and know everything if u don’t.
if u want help or to change ur religion join the catholic church and ask for it, i’m not saying all religions are bad, even joining the methodist church would be better then nothing. but we have the whole bible with all the books and know theres a hell and u have to give a little to get a little. if u want to know more look up a church near u or a website that has the right info, something!

I would like to clarify some things to some who do not understand the ogins of “satan” God acording in Genisis is the creator of all things. All means all simple as that. Sin was not in the world yet when Adam and Eve were created. God called all things good when he completed a project. Satan was an archangel, as a matter of a fact he was in charge of Worship in heaven. The Bible says that Satan was very beautiful and that’s where the problem begins. Pride. A little saying goes pride comes before a fall. We’ll satn looked at himself and said I should be the most high. Big mistake. As an analogy imagine you designed a robot, with great responsibility. You designed it to have a very real personality and it decided it was better than you and it’s going to take your spot what do you think you would do? Say well that’s ok I value your opinion be free to do what ever you want. No. Your going to kick it’s rear and throw it down. Well that’s what God did to satan. In Isiaha it talks about satan being thrown down from heaven like lightning. Sounds like he was ticked, and rightfully so. So there’s a beef between God and satan. Opposites. God wants to give life and more abundantly. Satan want’s to kill steal and destroy. Simply put.
I personally hate religion myself. All religions wnat you to do good works, or follow a list of rules so you can become the best you can be and maybe you will be rewarded. True Christianity in the true form the way it’s supposed to be like the church in the book of Acts, was to be Christ like. Not once did Jesus ever look at a person and said your going to hell. No he looked at people with compassion. He healed those who were sick, went to those who were rejected and loved those who were unlovable. Man I could relly go on here. He called those who follow Him to do as he did and to do greater. Infortuantly Christianity was adopted and thrown in to a religion. The middle ages was horrible because people where told what to do insted of studying the Bible on there own and allowing it to reveal itself. Now is there a hell? Yes it wasn’t created for humans, but for satan and his angles that followed him. Do humans go there? Yes. I know I know i ruffled some feathers but look at it this way…When a person steals, or commits murder, rape, etc what do we do with them? We judge them and usually they go to prision. Why do we do that? We don’t need people who commit crime on the street causing havoc, Instead we isolate them. God actully sends people to hell because he will not allow sinners into heaven to cause havoc or chaos. Now your saying so what defines sin? Ten comandments should give a decent picture of what sin is. Better yet how Jesus summed them up Love your neighbor and love God. You can’t do those then you’ve sinned. Here’s the real kicker, everyone has commited sin. So we all deserve to go to hell including I granted. But I know I’m not. You say what make you so special. Well I was adopted in the family of God, and things are done differently in His family. He shows me wrong doings and corrects me changing every fiber of me. But I gladly do it and willingly, because I love God. Why you may asked. He first loved me. As for the “family thing”, I’ll pose another scenario. Let’s say a stranger comes and breaks a window of your house and you find out who did it what are you going to do? Demand they fix it or pay for the damages right? You may even call the police and have that person arrested, or sue them. Now let’s say you have a child and they broke the window. Your going to be upset but I doubt your going to sue your child or call the police. They may have to pay for it but you keep the matter in the family. That’s all God does too. To be in His family is accepted what Christ did for be by pecoming the attonment for my sin. He died in my place so I wouldn’t have to. And because I’m in a family I develope a relationship with my heavenly father. That’s all we are called to do. But because of the joy and peace that wells up inside of me I gladly share about God’s love, he doesn’t want any to perish, but people choose there own fate. Heres the challenge it’s up to me and those who are likeminded to share that good news. There are going to people who reject God, and I fell sorry for those. And I hope that you will have a God encounter like Saul (latter Paul) did on the road to Damascus. But there are those who are finding God and learning and growing, and miricles are happening.
Still I could go on but I think I should stop here, I don’t need to get my full preach on. Everything I shared came from the Bible if you can’t find it I’m more than happy to find the scripture refrences for you. I’m open to challenges some of you like the ones Joel replied back to don’t waste my time. I want to help those who are curious about what I believe. You can hate me all you want but oh well I love you.

Joel – , First of all, the painting is good, no doubt a talent from your Father in Heaven. On a more personal note, I think you are closer to God than a lot of people believe that they are. I think God is pleased with you and your journey searching for Him. I believe He has major plans for you and soon you will be called into your destiny and so I will not be saying anymore about you, past what I have already written.
Pain – I am mainly commenting for you. You seem to be a rare sort indeed. The kind of sort that is actually, without bi-est opinion, one who is truly searching for God. I will say this only once. I will check these posts a few more times for your answer to what I am about to offer. I will not waste time with those unwilling to believe when so many are willing. First, you must understand that you are royalty of Heaven. You are a Prince/Princess. Secondly, it is obvious to me that God loves you and it is also obvious to me that you will find Him should you keep searching. However, it pains me to see one miss out on time with God due to the misleading of the enemy and the confusion of the world. So, I offer to you a true friendship in which you can hold faith and trust in. I will offer this so that your search for God may end quicker and your journey with Him may start sooner. To you, I am a warrior sent to release the prisoners and to bring back the lost. All others are for God to sort through His children. I offer to answer any of your questions but only through privacy so that the enemy may be handicapped and unable to interfere. Should you accept, you will receive true wisdom, prayer, and true friendship without judgment. Thank you and be blessed.
