Apparently there’s a plot in Illustration Friday to use the letter “S”. We just had 3 themes starting with the letter “S”!
I’d like to thank those who visit my blog for Illustration Friday!

Illustrated above is the Black Spotted Mouse of Central Manila. It is responsible for the deadly Carpal Tunnel Plague of 2006, of which I am currently experiencing.
“Spotted” is generally a fun word. Like “Polka Dot” or “Sprinkled”. “Spotted” is normally a description for animals, I should think. So taking the two together and twisting it to suggest the opposite is hopefully interesting. As well as the fact that “Spotted” may mean “with blemish” gives the plague mouse idea some meaning.
Cute but deadly.

so THAT’S what’s behind the carpal tunnel plague. It looks so innocent!
Excellent detail and perspective in your illustration. Great job!
Well done. Looks like its taking a swim.
Sorry about the CTS. I know the feeling althoug my mouse is not that beatiful.
