Rico Rival and myself had a pleasant afternoon chat with Mr. Nate Butler. We talked about our recent 120-page graphic novel adaptation together, anime/manga influence in the Phlippines, the upcoming manga projects Nate is packaging for Japan, as well as health and family! It has been perhaps 10 years since Nate has been to the Philippines – and it was nice of him to arrive rather in time for Independence Day (in the US.)
Nate is looking for manga artists here to produce peripheral material for an existing Japanese manga (colored) that has adapted cherished stories from the Bible. Check out more details regarding the ministry Nate’s part of — COMIX35.
