September 19th, 2009 | Category: I went on the first day of the 2009 Manila International Book Fair (MIBF) and aside from having a photo taking with Rex (the book mascot) I bought myself a copy of BOX.
It’s a book zipped in a clothed yellow box with embossed silhouettes of various designer characters feature in the book. It’s a Chinese publication – many English language errors and the way it listed Hongkong and Taiwan as “Taiwan, China” and “Hong Kong, China” made it clear! But for something that came in a zipper box it also was relatively cheap, I suppose??
The cool thing is that it has a special offer for hopeful illustrators and designers…
